Planning Henry and Leni for their future
In an interview, Seal talks about the career plans of his children Henry and Leni. Modeling is just an intermediate step for both.
While he can currently be seen in a Mountain Dew advertising spot for the Super Bowl, Sänger Seal (61) proudly talks about the career paths of his two oldest children. Son Henry (19) in particular recently impressed with his model debut on the Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. “I love what he did. He looked like a professional and, above all, his personality came through, who is his true beauty,” enthuses the “Kiss from a rose” interpreter.

But modeling is not what Henry wants to do in the long term. “I think he talked about a career in music,” reveals Seal. A decision that his son is not easy to do: “This is difficult because it is what I do. Henry has a fantastic voice, the proud father emphasizes: “And I don’t just say that as a biased father, which I am of course, but he really has a great voice.”
Daughter Leni (20), who brought Seal’s ex-wife Heidi Klum (51) into marriage and whom she raised together, does not see her future on the catwalk. “She is an entrepreneur,” explains the singer, describing her as “extremely imaginative and very, very clever”. She grown into a very independent woman. “She was the first to move out of the house and lived alone in New York. And then she just started modeling,” recalls Seal. “I’m proud of everything she does.”
Leni, who has already completed several lingerie campaigns together with her mother Heidi Klum, is well aware that the model business is a very superficial business. “She understands that it is a very changeable business,” says Seal. “And she understands that it is again just a springboard to achieve things that are much more important to her in her life.”
Seal and Heidi Klum have four children
Seal and Heidi Klum were married from 2005 to 2014. In addition to Leni and Henry, they also have son Johan (18) and daughter Lou (15). Leni was born in 2004 and was adopted by Seal in 2009 at the age of five. While Heidi Klum has been married to Tokyo Hotel musician Tom Kaulitz (35) since 2019, Seal is now in a relationship with his former personal assistant Laura Strayer.
