Cassidy took part in Payne’s burial in England in November. In a message, after the death of her friend, she emphasized that her heart was “shattered”.

In Argentina, two suspects were arrested last month due to Payne’s death. Both are accused of having provided the pop star with cocaine. According to the public prosecutor, forensic doctors are likely that Payne passed out while trying to climb over the balcony railing. An autopsy has proven alcohol and cocaine in large quantities.

A total of five suspects were charged, including a representative of the pop star, the operator and the chief receptionist of the hotel.
