Soon Ozzy Osbourne wants to appear again at a big show. He can no longer go because of his Parkinson’s disease.
Ozzy Osbourne (76) revealed that he can no longer go due to his Parkinson’s disease. The singer wants to give a big concert with Black Sabbath again in Birmingham in Birmingham. The band is planning a appearance on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham.
At “Sirius XM” Osbourne said about his health problems: “I did it until 2025. I can no longer go, but you know what I thought about the holidays? Despite my whining, I’m still alive.” According to the report, he added: “Maybe I whine that I can no longer go, but when I look back, I see people who have not done half as much as I did.”
“His legs are affected”
Added Osbourne’s wife Sharon (72) to his planned appearance: “He is very happy that he will come back and very emotionally because of it.” Parkinson’s is a progressive disease: “It is nothing that can be stabilized. It affects different parts of the body and his legs are affected. But his voice is almost never before.”
Ozzy Osbourne announced the concert in Birmingham on the official Instagram page of his band Black Sabbath. The event entitled “Back to the Beginning” is intended to be the “biggest heavy metal show ever”.
For the band’s final concert, Black Sabbath’s original line-up comes back for the first time in 20 years. In addition to Osbourne, Geezer Butler (75), Tony Iommi (76) and Bill Ward (76) will also be on stage. The 76-year-old Osbourne, who made his Parkinson’s disease public in 2020, will first play a solo set before the reunion takes place. The list of guest stars reads like the “Who is who” of the metal scene: Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Alice in Chains and many other bands will appear.
