The Mötley-Crüe member Vince Neil (64) aircraft was involved in a collision at the Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona on Monday. One person was killed, four more suffered injuries.
Was the pilot killed in the accident?
At the time of the accident, Vince Neil was apparently not on board the aircraft. The band published on social media: “For currently unknown reasons, the aircraft came off the runway and collided with another parked aircraft. On board the aircraft from Mr. Neil were two pilots and two passengers. Mr. Neil was not on board Aircraft. ” More detailed information on the course of the accident has not yet been available because the investigation has not yet been completed. “Mr. Neil’s thoughts and prayers apply to everyone involved, and he is grateful for the help of everyone who was in action today,” said Mötley Crüe.
Vince Neil’s partner and a friend of her are said to have been in the jet. They survived the accident and were therefore taken to a nearby hospital. According to media reports, the band wrote in a declaration that has now been deleted on X that the pilot was killed in the crash and that they would participate in the efforts to help the family.
The chassis of the accident jet should have been defective
As US media continued to report, citing the authorities, the Learjet 35a, which belongs to Vince Neil, came from Austin, Texas, when he came off the runway and clashed with a parked Gulfstream. According to the reports, the left main chassis of the Learjet was out of landing.
