Kid Rock had no fun during a performance in Nashville. The musician broke off his show because he didn’t like the audience.

This show was probably different for Kid Rock (54): from the stage at a performance in Nashville and broke off his gig because the audience did not want to clap with a song.

Kid Rock is dissatisfied with the audience

Kid Rock should apparently be the guest star at the party for the 63rd birthday of Bon-Jovi founding member and keyboardist David Bryan. According to the report, the celebration took place in the “JBJ’s Nashville”, a bar that belongs to Jon Bon Jovi (62). Rock came on stage with a band in which Bryan was sitting on the keyboard to play a cover version of the song “Proud Mary” by Creedence Clearwater Revival. The 54-year-old is said to have broken off the performance in half because the audience did not participate.

“Hey, hey, stop!” Said Kid Rock loud “USA Today”: “If you don’t clap, we don’t sing either. That’s how it works.” He then apparently started to put his hands over his head to show people in the audience what to do. After the band started again, some spectators clapped, but the participation of the audience didn’t seem to be enough.

He broke off the song again and explained: “You know what, you can all. If you don’t clap, I’m gone.” After Kid Rock left the stage, the band apparently continued their appearance.

There is more applause from Donald Trump

Kid Rock also appeared in January as part of the celebration of the inauguration of US President Donald Trump (78). There he stayed on stage for longer, he played four songs. The musician is considered a big Trump fan. In November he had already been seen in the audience together with the 78-year-old and the entrepreneur Elon Musk (53) during a UFC fight in the New York Madison Square Garden.
