Like many people, Herbert Grönemeyer approaches the upcoming Bundestag election. But it also gives himself very optimistic – and is addressing an appeal to society.
Herbert Grönemeyer (68) looks at the future of society and the country in view of the upcoming federal election. “We are not yet shared,” the singer emphasized on Thursday evening at the Berlinale opening ceremony. “The house is still standing. And I think it will be the case in four years.”
How many people in Germany he approaches the choice with a concerned feeling, “but also with an optimistic feeling that we are still absolutely able to keep this country stable and with a clear context of values and to be democratic,” he said .
“I’ve always been an optimist and I believe in this country,” said Grönemeyer. “I also believe that we have to make it clear that it is an incredible gem that we have created here in the past 80 years.” He would also “ask every AfD voter before making the cross, to think about what he jeopardizes”.
