A woman had confronted the rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z with severe accusations, including rape. Now she drops the civil lawsuit.
A woman who has accused the US rappers Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z sexual attacks drops her civil lawsuit against both musicians. The applicant’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, withdrew the lawsuit brought in New York in court last year on Friday. One reason for this was not mentioned.
In October, the anonymous plaintiff claimed that in 2000 as a 13-year-old to have been at a party and raped by Combs. This lawsuit was then submitted in December, also with Jay-Z as a accused.

Jay-Z, who is called Shawn Carter and has been married to singer Beyoncé since 2008, spoke of a victory on Friday that the “unfounded, invented and hair-raising allegations” have now been dropped. These claims were traumatic for his family, the father of three wrote in a message.
Combs’ lawyers spoke of “further confirmation that these lawsuits on lies were not based”. The Buzbee law firm in Houston in the US state of Texas accused you of wanting to attract attention with these many complaints. Combs’ team asserts none of these allegations in court. The rapper never used sexual violence – “against men or women, adults or minors,” said the statement.

Buzbee had announced in October to represent 120 people with allegations against the rapper Sean Combs. Since then, the law firm has submitted dozens of civil lawsuits from men and women for sexual assault.
Combs has been in custody since September. The rapper is accused of sex trade, organized crime and other offenses by the public prosecutor in New York. Combs did not guilty. The start of the trial is temporarily established on May.
