The album, recorded by the rock trio in their room in Ezeiza, was mastered by John Davis from London’s Metropolis studios.
Since the middle of 2019 and throughout the pandemic, La Renga has been advancing some songs in audio and video. “The time has come” and “It seems like a lost case” were the first songs chosen.
Later, “Flecha en la clave” and “So that I can see” came out and during the pandemic and recorded in their homes, they presented “By bicycle” and “El who takes me”.
In the streaming made at the Autodromo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires in 2021, “Buena Pipa” premiered. The album is completed with “Alejado de la Red”, the song that gives the album its name and “Elefantes Pogueando”, whose videos were also released with the album.
The natives of Mataderos announced their return to the stage with a national tour for the premiere of their new repertoire with dates in Córdoba, Salta, San Luis and Neuquén, after a last presentation in Rosario (Santa Fe) in May 2018.
