Jodie Foster: Mother-son appearance at the SAG Awards

Jodie Foster (62) received a very special support from the Screen Actors Guild Awards (SAG Awards). Her eldest son Charlie (26) accompanied the actress for the award ceremony in the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. Happiness, however, did not bring her that evening.

So far, the mother-son duo has rarely been publicly shown. On February 23, however, the two of them posted bright arms in arm for the photographers. Jodie Foster had chosen a sparkling chestnut brown dress and striking golden bracelets for the ceremony. Her son was wearing a classic black tuxedo with fly.

Foster was nominated as the best actress in a television film or a mini series for her role in “True Detective: Night Country”. She already won a Golden Globe and an Emmy. At the SAG Awards, however, she had left over to Jessica Gunning (38, “Baby Reindeer”). However, Gunning praised the 62-year-old in her acceptance speech. Jodie Foster was already on her vision board before she became an actress.

With her ex-partner Cydney Bernard (71), Jodie Foster also has son Christopher “Kit” (23) alongside Charlie. The couple separated in 2008 after 14 years of relationship. Foster rarely takes her children to public events, but speaks more openly about them since they grew up.

For example, she mentioned her two sons when she took home a Golden Globe Award in early January. “I just want to thank my family. Because Kit, my son, who is a scientist, and Charlie, my son, who is actor and his career begins, hopefully understand the joy, the joy that arises when you really arise when you are really hard, meaningful and So do a good job.
