His victory is reorganizing the Oscar race: Timothée Chalamet clears off at SAG Awards.
Timothée Chalamet (29) and Demi Moore (62) are among the big winners at the SAG Awards on Sunday. Chalamet won the price of the actor union as the best leading actor for “Like a Complete Unknown” in Los Angeles. Demi Moore cleared the award for her part in the body horror grotesque “The Substance” as the best leading actress.
The SAG Awards are considered an important indicator for the most important film award in the world. The highlight of the Award Season will take place next Sunday.
Moore and Chalamet on the way to the Oscar?
Demi Moore already won the Golden Globe for her leading role in “The Substance”. With her triumph at the price of the acting energy, Moore cemented her status as an Oscar favorite.
Timothée Chalamets Sag-Sieg for his embodiment of the young Bob Dylan (83) comes more surprising. Finally, with the Golden Globes against Adrien Brody (51), he pulled the shorter one, who was able to clear the coveted price for his tour de force as a Hungarian immigrant in “the brutalist”.
In the meantime, however, it has been known that Brodys have been revised a few Hungarian sentences in the film using artificial intelligence. This has harmed his reputation, even if experts continue to see him as an Oscar favorite. With Timothée Chalamet’s victory at the SAG Awards, however, the race for the Oscar has become even more exciting.
Kieran Culkin and Zoe Saldaña are also on the Oscar course
Kieran Culkin (42, “A Real Pain”) and Zoe Saldaña (46, “Emilia Pérez”) won the SAG Awards as the best supporting actors. Both have been considered a clear favorite for the Oscar for months and have already won a Golden Globe. The cast was awarded as the best ensemble of “Conclave” around Ralph Fiennes (62).
