Lindsay Lohan: Your father has been arrested

The relationship between actress Lindsay Lohan (38) and her father Michael Lohan (64) has been considered difficult for years. In 2017 she even described him on Twitter as “wrong” and explained that he did not earn the father title. Recently, however, there seemed to have been approaching between them. But current headlines could put the ratio again: Michael Lohan was arrested again. He is accused of having abused his wife Kate Major (42). She claims that he came out of a chair and injured her.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) in Texas announced that Kate Major alerted the police on February 21 after seeing her husband in a parking lot while she was on the way to a doctor’s appointment. For fear that he could follow her, she chose the emergency call. She then told the officials that the 64-year-old had violently pushed her out of a chair in her house a few days earlier. Therefore, she would have felt “pain and discomfort”. Officials are said to have noticed blue spots on Major’s body.

Michael Lohan would then have visited police officers in his apartment. He was arrested “without incidents”. He is now being held due to continued domestic violence. Lohan had already been arrested in 2020 for a suspected attack on Kate Major.

The couple got engaged in 2010, and the wedding followed four years later. In 2018, the former gossip reporter Major submitted the divorce and then applied for sole custody for her two sons Landon and Logan. A public rose war followed with heated disputes. For example, he accused her of threw a candle after him and injured his arm. However, the public prosecutor in Florida did not raise any charges because it lacked evidence.

Michael Lohan, who spoke openly about addiction problems, was always in conflict with the law. In 1990 and 2004 he had to prison for almost three years for assault and illegal trade. He is also said to have become palpable to his ex-wife Dina Lohan (62), which is why she separated from him. The two were married from 1985 to 2007 and, in addition to Lindsay, have three other common children. In 2021, Lohan was also arrested for illegal patient trading and sentenced to four years of probation in 2022.
