Jannik Sinner spends his doping lock so glamorous: in Milan he was spotted at the Gucci show next to Anna Wintour.
Tennis world list most Jannik Sinner (23) is currently closed for three months due to a doping offense. Therefore, you can no longer see him on the tennis court. The surprise was all the greater when he showed himself in public on Tuesday evening in Milan. There he attracted everyone at the Gucci fashion show – not least through the fact that he took a seat in the Front Row right next to “Vogue” editor -in -chief Anna Wintour (75). The South Tyrolean tennis star was shown in a dark look of Gucci, combined with white sneakers from Nike.
Jannik Sinner is a brand ambassador for Gucci
Sinner has been working as a global ambassador for the Italian luxury fashion brand since 2022 and has already been seen in a campaign for the label. The appearance as part of the Milan Fashion Week has been his first public appearance since he was blocked by the World Anti-Doping Agency for three months.
In March last year he had not passed two doping tests. At first he was not blocked because he was able to prove that the contamination with Clostebol was not intended. The Wada, on the other hand, had appealed. In mid -February 2025, Sinner had finally agreed to a comparison and accepted the temporary suspension.
The conditions of the lock therefore forbid him to train with registered players, to enter venues where tennis tournaments take place or that belong to the Italian tennis association. He can only compete again on May 4th and officially start training again on April 13th at the earliest. Until then, Monte Carlo Country Club in the French community Roquebrune-Cap-Martin is said to be his headquarters, in which he can continue to concentrate on playing tennis despite the strict rules.
