Actor Taylor Lautner jumped aside for his former friend Selena Gomez and defends her against internet trolls.
“Twilight” star Taylor Lautner (33) has stood in front of his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez (32) in a clear words and defended her against internet trolls. The actor reacted to hater -filled, misogyne comments regarding the weight of his former partner and opened the unspeakable double standards of the haters. He posted in, which they show in 2024 and 2025.
Both photos were backed up with the respective hate comments. In the picture from last year, people made fun of the actress’s curves. Well, in 2025, she suddenly be far too thin. “It’s a cruel world full of hate out there,” said Lautner.
“Be nice to each other!”
With his mail, Lautner linked a sad knowledge with an urgent appeal: “You will never be able to please everyone, and you shouldn’t have to do that either. In my experience, the words become no less painful.” Hass comments are not strange for the “Twilight” actor, and he himself was also the goal of such verbal attacks.
With him, however, these would now trigger a very specific reaction, as he further explained: “It focuses on the things that really count. And that is certainly not the shape, color or the appearance of your body. Daily memory of all of us, not to forget how nice we are from inside and outside … and to be a bit nicer together.”
Taylor Lautner and Selena Gomez led a short relationship in 2009. They had got to know each other in Vancouver when they were making a film – Gomez the film adaptation “Sister hearts – Ramona’s wild world”, Lautner the “Twilight” continuation “New Moon – to (s) at noon”. Despite the very short romance, both stars always find loving words for each other.
