Singer flies into space with Lauren Sanchez
The singer Katy Perry and Jeff Bezos’ fiance Lauren Sanchez soon fly into space with a blue-original rocket.
Jeff Bezos (61), one of the richest people in the world, sends his fiance Lauren Sanchez (55), pop star Katy Perry (40) and the moderator Gayle King (70) into space. This has Blue Origin, the space company of the Amazon founder.
A “team of discovery” from six women
The “NS-31 mission”, the “NS 31 mission”, belong to three other women. In the “New Shepard” rocket, ex-NASA rocket researcher Aisha Bowe, the scientist Amanda Nguyen and the film producer Kerianne Flynn will also be sitting in the “New Shepard” rocket.
Bezos’ fiancee brought the whole thing together, according to the company and would lead the “mission”. It is therefore the goal of Sanchez to “inspire the next generation of discoverers”. Perry is honored and hope that “your trip encourages your daughter and others to grab the stars in the literal and transferred sense”.
The “mission” sounds in the words of Blue Origin after a longer flight, but should probably be over after just a few minutes. One of the previous manned flights for space tourists, in which “spaceship Enterprise” legend William Shatner (93) took part in 2021, took around eleven minutes. Bezos had participated in the first manned flight a few months earlier.
It has not yet been announced when the flight from Sanchez and Perry should take place. It will be the 31st of the “New Shepard” program.
