As is well known, Kim Kardashian (44) is the Queen of Self -Marketing. This underlines her with her latest campaign – a striking advertising campaign in New York. Even if it is criticism for this: Kardashian and your Skim brand get huge attention.

The fashion label placed a 20 -meter balloon on March 4th in the middle of Times Square to represent Kim Kardashian. This will become the new swimwear collection that will be launched on March 6th. The arms of the balloon doll are placed over her head while lying on a blue block that is shaped with the brand’s logo. The balloon version wears the same bikini ensemble as Kardashian in a recent photo shoot.

Kim Kardashian: “I can’t believe it”

While the XXL advertising campaign splits the mind, the entrepreneur is obviously satisfied with her balloon image. She wrote about several pictures of the bikiniput: “Oh my god. I can’t believe that there is a 20 meter long raft from me with skims swim in the middle of Times Square.”

The marketing campaign immediately called critics. “Such an unrealistic representation of a woman’s body,” found an Instagram user. It is “repulsive” and a “harassment in public space”. Someone thought it was “maybe the worst start of a product campaign ever”. Others, on the other hand, praised Kardashians innovative idea. A followers commented: “Skims has the best marketing team.”
