Eight years of marriage and two children together could not save the relationship: Marc-André Ter Stegen and his wife Daniela have made their separation public.
National goalkeeper Marc-André Ter Stegen and his wife Daniela broke up. This was announced by the 32 -year -old football professional from FC Barcelona. The two were married for eight years, are parents of two sons. The decision was not made easy, it said in the statement published in English and Spanish.
“Hello everyone, after a careful consideration, Dani and I decided to go separate ways. This decision was not easy for us, as you can imagine, but we both believe that it is the best step for us.” The common focus is now on doing the best for our children. (…) You want to work together as parents, meet with respect and appreciation, “as we always did,” it says.

Due to a knee injury suffered at the end of September, Ter Stegen is currently canceled. Most recently, the former Bundesliga goalkeeper had hoped to return to the Barcelona goal this season.
