Queen Camilla and Princess Kate set color accents at the Commonwealth Day. Together they formed a royal pink.

Both Queen Camilla (77) and Princess Kate (43) have thrown themselves into colorful shell for their visit to worship on the occasion of the Commonwealth Day. Both women who appeared together with their respective husbands König Charles (76) and Prince William (42) on the solemn occasion, chose Monochrome Outfits: Camilla enveloped from head to toe in Zartrosa. From the designer Fiona Clare, the perfectly coordinated hat by Philip Treacy.

Meanwhile, Princess Kate chose a tight -fitting red dress by Catherine Walker with an oversized loop on the chest and also combined a color -matching hat from Gina Foster. She had already worn the dress – at that time with a black Corona mask – in 2021. The occasion was a Christmas concert around three years ago, which also took place in the Westminster Abbey.

Double return

Prince William and King Charles, on the other hand, entered the church in a classic look, both of them wore a black or dark blue suit. For both the British monarch and for his daughter -in -law Kate, the visit to the event was the return to the event after they were missing both last year based on their respective cancer diagnosis. In addition to Princess Anne and the Duke of Gloucester, the other prominent worshipers this year also included Spice Girls singer Geri Horner.

The British monarch is the head of the Commonwealth of Nations, which includes numerous former colonies such as Australia or Canada. The Commonwealth Day takes place on the second Monday in March and is under the motto “We thrive together” in 2025.

The service should therefore highlight the multicultural diversity of the Commonwealth. The royal guests were welcomed by a pipe band from a Hindu-Öko Temple in Northwest London. There was also music from an African art group and the singer Joan Armatrading (74) performed a version of her song “Love and Affection”. An innovation for this year’s Commonwealth Day was that the king had also put together his own personal playlist with favorite songs.
