In the place where the old Spanish still life was La Coruña, at the end of 2016 it opened its doors Saigon Noodle Bara Vietnamese food restaurant located by steps from the well -known San Telmo market and in one of the most cosmopolitan areas of the city.
The head of the entrepreneurship, which today has two more branches in retirement and Palermo, is Matías Mc Lurg, a gastronomic businessman who lived in France, where he connected with the richness of the Asian culinary first hand. In order to make it known in a country as far from Asia as Argentina, it created this proposal that is consolidated thanks to a wide variety of dishes prepared with seafood, noodles, vegetables and artisanal ingredients, at very accessible prices.
In a corner of Bolívar Street is the first place, that of San Telmo, very visited by tourists and office workers to the rhythm of their vacation or their weekly routine. Surrounded by windows, when you enter your cuisine in sight and bar, where you can see how each specialty prepares. The atmosphere is decontracted and informal, and in the background sound modern melodies that do not interfere with the talks.

In each Saigon store highlights an avant -garde atmosphere, with iron and wood textures that are replicated in its other headquarters, with faint colors as protagonists. In San Telmo a school furniture and a striking neon present in its other two stores predominates: PHO OPENin relation to one of its most famous dishes.
The letter condenses the most representative flavors of Vietnam, with fresh products, of its own and direct manufacture from its production plant, where some of their inputs for cooking, such as the sauces. The starting point is the entrances, where the fried nems of pigs, their vegan version with tafu marinated and the classics Spring rolls of prawns. Another house of the house – and the most asked – is the main bouc lac, an eye of marinated, sauteed to butter, served with fried eggs and rice. The soups, delicious and abundant, such as the PHo Bo, for example, it carries seven types of spices, cooked and raw meat that undergoes a cooking process in the same broth. The tour continues with a variety of curries, sauteed noodles and rice, among other items, in addition to vegan, vegetarian and TACC options.

As for their drink of drinks, they have a selection of fruit, blueberry and lime kombuchas, or lemon and hibiscus, and author beers, such as the Viet Kong session IPA of Saigon or its new lager without alcohol. You can also choose between a variety of snacks, cold tea, lemonades and red wines. The sweet touch, for the end, is a homemade Matcha flan, also unmissable.
Open from Monday to Sunday, Saigon tempts every day to take a break and give a unique experience, to move to this Vietnamese corner and discover its culture through its kitchen, in the middle of the Buenos Aires center.
