We had to say goodbye to these celebrities this year
The year has hardly arrived in spring, so we had to say goodbye to many well -known personalities. One last look at those who are remembered.
Although the year is just a few months old, we had to say goodbye to many public life. The death of Hollywood star Gene Hackman († 94) and his wife Betsy Arakawa († 65), both of whom were found dead in their house in Santa Fe on February 26. As it later became known, the actor, who was on Alzheimer’s actor, had apparently survived his younger wife by a week. While she had died of a disease triggered by so-called Hantaviruses, Hackman succumbed to cardiovascular disease.
The early death of the ice hockey national player Tobias Eder, who succumbed to cancer at the age of only 26, was particularly tragic. With the actor Horst Janson († 89) and the TV presenter Max Schaubzer († 84), two of the really big entertainers also went off the stage this year.
Grief for well -known personalities
Some great politicians also died this year, such as Bernhard Vogel († 92), former Prime Minister of Rhineland-Palatinate and Thuringia. We also had to say goodbye to the former Federal Minister of the Interior and social library FDP politician Gerhart Baum († 92) and former Federal President Horst Köhler (81).
