Robert de Niro about his youngest child: he wants to show this film to his daughter

Hollywood star Robert de Niro (81) is jointly responsible for numerous film classics. But since he became a father again in April 2023, there is a rather colorful children’s entertainment at home. After he recently revealed which child programs he watches together with his little daughter Gia, the 81-year-old has now revealed which film he wanted to show his youngest child first.

On Tuesday, Robert de Niro was a guest on NBC to advertise his new Netflix series “Zero Day” and his upcoming film “The Alto Knights”, which will start in German cinemas on March 20.

Here, too, he was asked which pedagogically valuable children’s programs he looked at with his daughter. “So I look at Miss Rachel, The Wiggles and Blippi. And sometimes we look at episodes in which they all work together,” said de Niro.

Whereupon Seth Meyers (51) countered with a joke: “This is how I felt when I saw ‘Heat’ for the first time.” He alluded to the film classic by Michael Mann (82) from 1995, in which the two Oscar awards de Niro and Al Pacino (84) could be seen together on the screen.

But although little Gia with her almost two years for the films in which her father played along is still far too young, de Niro apparently thinks about which film he would show her first. In conversation with Seth Meyers, his choice fell on “The adventure of Rocky & Bullwinkle” from 2000. In the comedy with cartoon elements, de Niro plays a villain called the “fearless”.

In April 2023, De Niro surprisingly provided family growth again. His girlfriend Tiffany Chen (45) gave birth to his daughter Gia – the Hollywood legend became a father for the seventh time.
