In a TV show, music legend Joan Baez has criticized the current US government under Trump-and reported on her experience with a Tesla.
US musician Joan Baez (84) criticized the American government in the talk show “Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney”. “We are all here to be silly and have fun,” Baez is quoted by the “Variety” industry portal. However, one has to acknowledge the fact that “our democracy is going up in flames,” said the American on the TV show. “We are really ruled by a bunch of incompetent billionaires.” The audience cheered and applauded.
After his election as US President, Donald Trump made the Tech billionaire Elon Musk his tight consultant. The CEO of Tesla, SpaceX and X had previously generously supported Trump financially in the election campaign.
Baez about her Tesla: “I hated the thing”
Later in the talk show, Baez said that she owned a Tesla herself. “I hated that thing,” she said. “But I thought I should like it. So I started.” Within a three -quarters of an hour she drove against a tree on her property – “a sign”, said the American.
Baez had celebrated world successes as a musician for decades. In the meantime, however, it hardly appears. In the current film bib “Like a Complete Unknown” about the singer Bob Dylan, Baez is embodied by actress Monica Barbaro.
