Amira Aly can be seen in a guest role in the ZDF series “Marie catches fire”. She hopes for more roles.
After her appearance in “The Dream Ship” last year, Amira Aly (32) pulled her second acting role ashore. On March 13th (8:15 p.m., ZDF) she can be seen in the opening sequence of the new season “Marie catches fire”. In the episode “spilled” she slips into the role of reporter Lissa, which she was great fun, as she was told in an interview with Spot on News.
How do you like acting?
Amira Aly: I was very, very fun to sniff the scoop. I really enjoyed it and it was an absolute honor for me to be able to work on the set in addition to such great actors and stage people. I hope that wasn’t my last time as an actress.
You play the reporter Lissa and virtually change the sides. How was it to be the one who asks the questions?
Aly: My role was an annoying reporter and it was very funny to play her. I found it totally refreshing and also relaxed and funny. In any case, it was great fun for me and I thought it was great that I could also make the actors laugh with my role.
How did you prepare for this role?
Aly: Of course I learned the texts in the classic way. On the set I looked closely at the other actors and of course I tried to internalize the story that is about.
Do you take a souvenir from the set?
Aly: Souvenir not directly, but a lot of great pictures. I captured a lot of memories there. I have videos, pictures of the set, from the shoot and that remains stored in a folder.
The Bavarian region of Murnau went to film. How did you like it there?
Aly: Murnau is beautiful. I thought it was totally great and would have liked to spend a few days longer with my children and enjoyed nature. It was really beautiful and also sparked little feelings of home in me because I love nature.
How will you look at the episode?
Aly: I will definitely watch the episode with my friends and my loved ones on the sofa. I will probably not be able to look because I can’t see myself there myself. Or then I probably have to laugh and it is uncomfortable for me. But I have to look at it, because I want to grow and look at it, what can I do better if I get the chance to be allowed to play somewhere.
