Finally confirmed: Series hit “Ted Lasso” gets Season 4.
A story about success, friendship and that friendliness does not always win, but the right way is – that is the “Ted Lasso” series at Apple TV+. It is now continued.
The final game in season third was not the end: the success series “Ted Lasso” on Apple TV+ continues. There have been rumors for a long time, now the streaming service confirmed a fourth season.
The mixture of comedy and drama series revolves around a US football coach that is supposed to lead a soccer team in Great Britain-without initially having a hint of a clue of the rules.
“Ted Lasso” forms a real team from single fighters, helps his players to develop personally – and to understand that football is beautiful, but both are not all. The Feel-Good series with a big pinch of humor was recognized as the best comedy series for the first two seasons for the first two seasons.
“We all continue to live in a world in which we have conditioned so many factors to weigh up first and then dare,” the leading actor and executive producer Jason Sudeikis quoted in a message. “In the fourth season, AFC Richmond’s people learn to dare before they weigh up and discover that they arrive exactly where they belong.”
Nothing was officially announced about the occupation of season four. But together with Jason Sudeikis (“Ted Lasso”), his acting colleague Brendan Hunt, who previously played “Coach Beard”, will be part of the executive producer team. And “Roy Kent” actor Brett Goldstein will act as a screenwriter and executive producer.
