“Freater Friday” – body is exchanged again in summer
In “Freaky Friday” a mother and daughter had to struggle in the life of others. The trailer for the second part with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan shows that it will be even more complicated.
Disney published the first trailer for the “Freaky Friday” sequel – and it gets even more complicated than in the first film. Because this time not only a mother (Jamie Lee Curtis as Tess) and daughter (Lindsay Lohan as Anna) involuntarily swap the bodies and have to cope with the life of others.
Anna (Lohan) has now grown up, has a teenage daughter and soon also a stepdaughter. It’s not easy – and then all four suddenly wake up in the body of one of the others. The two older people remember: “The last time we just did as if we were the other – until we have turned back.” Can that work again?
The comedy comes to the cinema in Germany on August 7, as Disney announces. Like the first part – “Freaky Friday – a fully crazy Friday” (2003) – the film is based on the book “Freaky Friday” by Mary Rodgers. In addition to Lohan and Curtis, Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray and Rosalind Chao return from the original line-up. This time the Canadian Nisha Ganatra (“Late Night”) directs.
