As a student, he passed the house every day. To this day, he is crumbling before – and the vague idea of ​​a vacation in retirement gives way to the instinct of the murder investigator. He seems to ignore his farewell. He only stays with him for a few days until the end of the service.

The last Kiel “Tatort” with Milberg “Borowski and the head of the Medusa” runs on March 16 (8:15 p.m. in the first, then in the media library). After more than 20 years, the actor is saying goodbye to the role of commissioner from the Waterkant. As it ends for the Commissioner, has not yet become public.

“The NDR was so friendly to ask me what I want,” Milberg told the German Press Agency. The farewell of the crime figure is in his sense. “So too little is satisfied. I’m happy with it.”

August Diehl as an icy opponent

The filming for Borowski’s last case took place in early 2024. The experienced murder investigator has to deal with the clever but strange clerk Robert Frost (August Diehl). Frost represents a trip with the mother. But Borowski senses the roast, investigates on his own and ends up in the hands of the police. A police patrol called by the neighbor saves him from the murderer, but sets him into the dark house because of his penetration. “Ey guys, I’m a colleague,” Borowski escapes. Thomas Kügel Borowski’s chief Roland Schladitz has been playing since 2003. He has a friend, says the commissioner in his last case. What is meant is Schladitz. From 2003 to early 2024, Milberg was in front of the camera for “Borowski and the Head of Medusa” and 42 other cases in his hometown of Kiel. He also played in the 1000 episode “Taxi to Leipzig” alongside Maria Furtwängler (Commissioner Charlotte Lindholm). The first Borowski episode “Fathers” ran at the end of November 2003.

Milberg’s successor is taking on Bagriacik and Karoline Schuch (“The Second Welle”) as police psychologist Elli Krieger. The new Kiel duo was already in front of the camera for the double episode “among friends / under enemies” last year, which is expected to send the first in 2026 on two Sundays. Schuch was seen in the Kiel “Tatort” case “Borowski and the House of Spirits” in an episode role called Anna Voigt.
