After more than 40 episodes, Borowski is now a job. However, his last arrest has an aftermath for him in the thriller.
After his farewell, Axel Milberg himself ends up as Kiel’s “crime scene” investigator Klaus Borowski. In his last case, the commissioner grabs the strange clerk and brutal mother murderer Robert Frost (August Diehl) in the farewell sequence “Borowski and the Head of Medusa” (from now on in the ARD media library).
When the perpetrator arrested after an accident, however, a shot from Borowski’s weapon comes loose. Because he was already formal at this time, the Commissioner ends up in custody. In the last scene he gets a pleasant visit there: his great love and former colleague Frieda Jung (Maren Eggert).
From 2003 to early 2024, Milberg was in front of the camera for “Borowski and the Head of Medusa” and 42 other cases in his hometown of Kiel. In addition, together with Maria Furtwängler (Commissioner Charlotte Lindholm) he was seen in the 1000th episode “Taxi to Leipzig”. Milberg’s succession takes over Almila Bagriacik, who had already played 13 episodes on Milberg’s side, and Karoline Schuch (“The second wave”).
Last year, the Frankfurt Commissioners Anna Janneke (Margarita Broich) and Paul Brix (Wolfram Koch) left dramatically. Only the two investigators confessed to their feelings after completing the case, then they were blown up by a car bomb on a bridge.
