Elton John has been struggling with poor eyesight for months. Allegedly, this now means that he has to shorten his signature.
Elton Johns (77) Health State seems to deteriorate. The legendary singer allegedly had to shorten his signature on the letter “E” and a kiss. In view of his estate eyesight, it was a challenge for him to write his full name. According to the newspaper, fans have been informed that Elton John was his autograph for the limited sets of his upcoming album “Who Believes in Angels?” must simplify.
In the past few months, the singer repeatedly spoke openly about his declining eyesight and expressed concerns that this could even prevent him from completing his latest project. However, the album is to be officially released on April 4th. It is a collaboration with Brandi Carlile (43).
Infection robs him of the eyesight
The singer lost his eyesight in his right eye last July after suffering an infection on vacation in the south of France. He reported that his left eye “is not doing so well”. In December, Elton John announced that due to his visual problems, he could not take part in the pre-premieres of his new musical adaptation of “The devil wears Prada”.
In the program “Good Morning America”, the 77-year-old described how much his visual loss had had a long time on his daily life. “It completely blew me away, I can’t see anything. I can’t read anything, I can’t see anything.”
“Permanent optimist”
Elton John was positive in February 2025 despite the adverse circumstances. “I am a permanent optimist, at the moment I have a bad eyes. There were days when I felt unhappy, but then I think about how much luck I am. I have a new respect for visually impaired people, but I have a great life and hope that my eyesight will improve.” He has already defeated a lot of health problems and his addiction. He therefore knew that he could get up again “and shake off the dust”.
