The work tells the story of a woman who between recipes and memories cooks her destiny knowing a battered present.

Journalist: What attracted you to the work to want to direct it?
David Masajnik: The first thing that attracted me was the possibility of working with my wife and with such beautiful texts from this author, also a friend. This occurred in a particular way, we did not decide to set up a show but had to travel to Punta del Este to do the work with Susana Giménez and we took advantage of the Fernandino de Maldonado theater and the idea was to start with this show. He was giving without any expectation and was doing alone in the walk. Little by little it grew, we premiered in Uruguay, then in Buenos Aires at the Poland Theater, we toured and finally we arrived at the muse’s dressing room. The work was growing, we added poetry and music.

DM: Loneliness, hope, love, illusion, fantasy, abandonment.
Q.: How is this catharsis between recipes, how is this woman today?
DM: It is a desperate catharsis, she cooks to forget and also to forgive, there turns all the pain and enthusiasm. She lives cooking Omar and while doing so, she loves him, she is scorned but excited at the same time. Olga is a woman full of illusion and is a woman today. The public celebrates the work of the actress, and identifies to a greater or lesser extent, we have all been desperate, passionate.
Q.: How do you see theater and culture?
DM: Resisting as always, for that we are, beyond the adversities of this context I see a lot of theatrical activity despite everything. I am doing this show, I start with a unipersonal, I am waiting for the float, I will make Rocky, do not stop appearing commercial and independent theatrical shows. It is moving to see how from the theater it continues against wind and tide.
