A US organization questions Prince Harry’s visa application in the United States. It’s about the British drug use. Now files became public.
Prince Harry’s visa application in the United States continues to employ the courts there. It is examined whether there are irregularities in the application. Court files have now been published on Tuesday.
However, the documents did not show whether the 40-year-old Royal had given incorrect information on his visa application or was preferred.
This is believed to be the HERITAGE Foundation’s US thinking factory, which had sued on the publication of his application. A judge had rejected this with reference to Harry’s personal rights.
The documents now published are extracts from the court proceedings. It can be read, for example, how authorities warned that Harry must expect harassment when he was released. Much of the text was blackened.
Prince Harry and the drugs: cannabis, cocaine and psychedelic mushrooms
The background to the legal discussion is Harry’s confessions from his autobiography “Spare” (in German: “Reserve”) about previous drug use. The younger son of King Charles had admitted in the book published in early 2023 to have consumed cannabis, cocaine and hallucinogenic mushrooms.
The Heritage Foundation suspects that he could conceal this in his US visa proposal and have therefore committed a break. His residence permit could be invalid, according to the assumption. If, on the other hand, he has given drug use, the think tank senses that because of his status as a member of the British royal family, the authorities could have put an eye on – which in their view would be a scandal.
From numbers girl to the Duchess: This is how Meghan has changed over the years

Before Meghan Markle Hollywood air sniffed and later became a Duchess, she had to start on TV Klein in 2006: as a number girl in the game show “Deal or No Deal”. An experience that she later looked back with mixed feelings. “I was grateful for the job, but not for how I felt. … not clever. By the way, I was surrounded by clever women who were on stage with me,” she said in a episode of her podcast “Archetypes”. “But that was not the reason why we were there. And in the end I went home with a smooth feeling in my stomach because I knew that I was so much more than what was objectified on stage”

Further
The prince and his wife Duchess Meghan had long for themselves from the narrow circle of the royal family in early 2020. The relationship to the rest of the Royal Family is considered broken. They now live with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet in the US state of California.
