After the sudden death of Rosenstolz singer Anna R., the music of the pop duo experiences a revival: her songs storm the iTunes charts.

After the unexpected death of Rosenstolz singer Anna R. (1969-2025), the music of the pop duo has now experienced a comeback in the charts. Just a few days after the 55-year-old’s death, 20 rose stump songs make it back into the top 100 of the iTunes charts, as can be seen. Five of them can be found in the top 10, including the 2018 version of “Love is everything”. This and the two other rose stump classics “I am” and “Give me sun” occupy the first three places.

Rosenstolz albums and solo plates from Anna R. also return to the charts: 17 albums of the pop duo are currently storming the top 100 of the iTunes albums, six of them are among the ten most popular. Also “King: In”, which Anna R. published two years ago, is one of the top positions.

Anna R. dies at the age of 55

Anna R.’s death made her management public on March 17th. “The sudden, unexpected end of life of our girlfriend and ‘king: shocked and confused us deeply. […] She still had a lot of music plans when she died in Berlin at the age of 55, “said the post, among other things.

Shortly afterwards, Peter Plate (57) also said and paid tribute to his long -time Rosenstolz colleague: “Anna, you will be missing. My whole life, my years in Berlin – all of this was connected to you. Rosenstolz was one of the most beautiful times of my life. Rosenstolz, that was you. And now you are no longer there.” Together, the musicians founded the group in 1991, which with hits like “Love is everything”, “it can be a start” and “I am” great success.

After the rose stolz separation in 2012, Anna R. remained true to music: While she was devoting herself as a solo artist with the band Gleis 8 new projects, she also performed on stage with the rock band Silly from 2019 to 2022. Anna R. had planned a solo tour in October and November of this year.
