Yvonne Catterfeld about family happiness: patchwork as “enrichment”

Last year Yvonne Catterfeld (45) moved to Bavaria with her son Charlie (10) and her partner from Berlin. In an interview with the magazine “Gala”, the singer and actress reports how happy she is in a suburb of Munich in her new home. Some pictures and clips of it were already seen.

Catterfeld admits that the idea of ​​a move across the country was first scary. But she stood her fears – “and that was really worth it”. After elaborate and challenging renovations, the patchwork family has settled in well. “I love it there,” enthuses the Erfurt native, who lived in Berlin for 24 years. Specifically, it was impressed by the “nature, endless sports and leisure opportunities, short distances to the mountains or to Italy. Austria”. Speaking of patchwork, that seems to work excellently in your case. After the separation from her partner, actor Oliver Wnuk (49), with whom she shares her son Charlie, “they would have found a good way to remain friends as a parents,” says Catterfeld. Even more, “patchwork can be an enrichment if everyone focuses on the child,” she explains and speaks from experience. Because: “We lived and did it with Oliver’s daughter at the time,” she adds.

What also makes it easier for the situation: After many years in Berlin, the Wnuk, born in Constance on Lake Constance, has also lived on Lake Starnberg in Bavaria since last summer. “For me, Berlin lost a bit of its charm after 18 years.
