Charles and Camilla are traveling in Northern Ireland. In Limavady they were greeted by a four -legged fan on the second day of their visit.
King Charles (76) and Queen Camilla (77) stopped on the second day of their visit in Northern Ireland in the city of Limavady. There they were welcomed by numerous Royal fans who cheered the royal couple. Among the audience was the six-year-old Cockerspaniel bitch Lily ,. Its owner Nadine Connor put on a knitted crown on the special occasion. As pictures of the royal visit show, King Charles seemed to be very impressed by the crowned pet.
Cake for the Royal guests
On her tour of the city, the Monarch and his wife also visited the 200 -year -old company Hunter’s Bakery. According to the report, Charles and Camilla met employees of the company and received a demonstration on how to produce regional specialties. There was also a piece of cake for the two royal guests, as the newspaper continues. Afterwards, King Charles and Queen Camilla were able to admire a presentation of works of art in a cultural center of the city.
The royal couple had already perceived a series of appointments in Northern Ireland on Wednesday. Among other things, the two met with leading politicians in Belfast. Later there was also a visit to the whiskey shop “The Friend at Hand”, where Charles and Camilla were invited to tasting. Pictures show how the two first toast and then approved a sip. Charles, confessing whiskey fan, described the offered “The Daily Telegraph” as “very good”, while Camilla had to laugh at the strength of the whiskey.
Italy is coming
Soon for King Charles and Queen Camilla, it will be south. You will visit Italy and the Vatican for four days from April 7th to April 10th. A planned meeting with Pope Francis (88) is also to take place despite his illness, the Buckingham Palace recently announced. A private occasion for the royal couple also falls during the week: the 20th wedding anniversary on April 9th.
