Elon Musk: His daughter insults him in an interview

Elon Musks (53) daughter Vivian Wilson (20) has found clear words about the distant relationship with her father. In a recent interview, the 20-year-old describes the Tech billionaire as a “pitiful man’s child” and emphasizes that she no longer wants to have a relationship with him.

Wilson, who had her coming-out as a trans woman in 2020, has done a radical cut with her father since then. As early as 2022, she applied for an official name change to cancel any connection to Musk. In the interview, she makes it clear that she has had no contact with him for years – and does not want any. When asked whether she is afraid of her father’s power and influence, she replied unequivocally: “I shit on him.” He was a “ridiculous man child” and she gives him “no room in my thoughts”.

In the past, Elon Musk had repeatedly expressed his daughter. Among other things, he said she was killed by the “Woke Mind Virus”. Wilson, who comes from Musk’s first marriage to Justine Wilson (52), emphasizes that she is not interested in her father’s money and would rather get involved with topics that are close to her heart.

Her mother reacted positively to her coming out: “She was very supportive. (…) When I told her to her, she briefly pretended to be a little surprised, but then said: ‘Yes, honey. Okay.'” She still has a good relationship with her mother today. Justine Wilson and Elon Musk divorced in 2008 after eight years of marriage, they have five other children in addition to Vivian, and a son died in infancy.

When asked whether she knew how many siblings she has – Musk should be a father of 14 children – Wilson admits that she doesn’t know exactly how many it is. “Half siblings included, I don’t know how many siblings I have. It is a good fact for ‘two truths, a lie’.”

Via Musk’s four children with neuralink employee Shivon Zilis (twin born in 2021, a daughter born in 2024 and a son born in 2025) she had experienced through the media like the rest of the world and had “no idea” before.

She learned from Musk’s second child with musician Grimes (37) through a post on the Reddit platform. Her brother X Æ a-12, nickname X, the first child of Musk and Grimes, saw Wilson once “when he was very small”. “I don’t keep up to date with this side of the family. My mother is not divorced either. It is with a shit what they are doing. This is not my problem,” she adds.
