They have already served their time,” she explains. “I wanted them to have the freedom not to have the eyes of the world. If people ask me that, they have no idea what victims bring children when their parents are in this role.”

Michelle and Barack Obama have been married since 1992. Her daughters were born in 1998 and 2001.
