Amanda Seyfried shows her rash: Fans celebrate for their open words

Amanda Seyfried (39) makes no secret of her skin problems – and that is well received by her fans. The actress reveals her Skincare routine of the fashion magazine “Vogue” and, based on her unvarnished face, shows that she suffers from a facial eczema. “You may be wondering what that is in my face. This is my eczema. I suffer from perioral dermatitis,” she explains at the beginning of the video.

Perioral dermatitis is a benign rash that most often occurs in young female adults and consists of small inflammatory pustules or pink, scaly stains around the mouth.

In the video, Seyfried also explains when she has been struggling with skin disease. “When I was 19, I started developing a rash and I got to know a lot of medical products, I learned a lot about products from my dermatologist during this time.”

As she washes her face with soap, she continues: “The rash is to scream. But that’s okay, because I will cover it so that I can go public. It’s funny how to feel with eczema.” She uses a medical cream, according to the actress. Your skin has gotten better over the years. Afterwards some toner, serum and foundation are used for a natural look.

“Do you see how simple it was? I don’t want to get rid of all the redness – I don’t even know how to do it,” says Seyfried to her fans. “This is not a red carpet look. This is my make-up to look pretty and clean.”

The 39-year-old is celebrated for her openness in the comments on YouTube. “As someone who has eczema, I would like to thank her and the ‘Vogue’ for not using a filter to hide her skin! “I’m really happy to see real skin without botox and filter,” says another.
