Actually, the process due to the allegation of sexual harassment against Gérard Depardieu (76) should begin in Paris on October 28, 2024. However, he was postponed for an illness of the actor. On Monday, March 24th, it should finally start in the French capital.

Abuses when filming 2021?

As reported, Gérard Depardieu is personally expected on March 24th and 25th. The French star is accused of sexual assault, which is said to have occurred in September 2021 on the set of Jean Beckers (91) film “Les Volets Verts”. One of the alleged victims had filed a complaint in February 2024 for “sexual assault, sexual harassment and sexist insult”.

In the event of a conviction, the 76-year-old face up to five years in prison and a fine of 75,000 euros. Depardieu rejected all allegations. A total of around 20 women have accused him of various sexual offenses in recent years.

At the end of October 2024, doctors had attested the actor a bad state of health, which is why the hearing was postponed to March. According to a medical report created in February, Depardieu is now capable of appearing in court.
