Start filming for “Project Runway”

Sixteen seasons moderated Heidi Klum the talent smiths for young fashion designers “Project Runway”. Now the model is celebrating its comeback.

“Tomorrow is the first day,” posts supermodel and multi -million dollar entrepreneur Heidi Klum (51). It is difficult to imagine that there could be some new territory for the “Germany’s Next Top Model” boss. The filming is not entirely unknown either, which Klum indicates on Instagram. “Project Runway” is on a document that indicates the start of filming for the new season of the designer casting show.

“It feels like getting home,” Klum continues. Because the American show, in which tailoring talents are sought, already moderated sixteen seasons from the beginning of the format until 2018. “I can’t wait for the season to start. I’m so happy to be here again,” she posts in another post and linked co-moderator, fashion designer Christian Siriano (39).

In her stories, Klum even takes her 12.5 million followers behind the scenes. During the fitting in the mask, she jokes with Siriano, whose asymmetrical evening dress creation she puts on her display or takes the 39-year-old on stage quickly.

A look at her wardrobe reveals how much the crew is happy about her return: she received various flower bouquets and even a homemade cake with the pink cream “looking forward”. A phrase that became Klum’s trademark in US TV because she had said goodbye to the format for years with these words. “Thank you all so much,” emphasizes Heidi Klum enthusiastically. “I am looking forward to seeing this two back on TV,” congratulates model colleague Coco Rocha (36) virtually on the comeback via Instagram story, which reposts Klum.

You too are there in season 21

The new 21st season of “Project Runway” is intended to include ten episodes that are broadcast on US television every week. “Elle” editor-in-chief Nina Garcia (59) and Stylist Law Roach (46) will support as jurors. So far there is no start date.

From 2004 to 2017, the Rhinelander native moderated the success series and even won the Emmy Award for her role in 2013 alongside co-moderator Tim Gunn (71). After their exit 2018, the moderation took over in season 17 and 18 model Karlie Kloss (32). Christian Siriano has been a mentor since season 17. In 2007 he won the fourth season and was the youngest winner of the design competition.
