Adele’s haunted mansion in West Sussex
In 2012, Adele moved to Lock House, a mansion of 13 rooms and nine bathrooms located in West Sussex. The 24 -year -old singer was fascinated by the property, her historical design and its amplitude. But unfortunately, what seemed like a dream soon became a true nightmare.
In an interview with CBS that same year, Adele described his experience as “quite scary”, explaining that in that same house they heard Echoes and strange voicesespecially in the rooms and the pool. “I was convinced that I was haunted”he confessed, adding that he even hired a bodyguard to feel safer at the time he was alone on the property.
West Sussex’s mansion, a property (almost) impossible to sell
After Adele’s statements about paranormal phenomena in Lock House, they soon spread through all British means, generating a Unexpected problem for its owner, Nicholas Sutton. According to Sutton, the singer’s words seriously affected the reputation of property in the real estate market.
The owner affirms that he has been tried to sell the mansion during the last 14 years, but Possible buyers usually unsubscribe when they find out about the alleged paranormal activities mentioned by Adele. He even remembers that, in 2020, an interested buyer withdrew his offer after investigating the alleged haunted state of the property.
