Renée Zellweger in fifth season “Only Murders”
The makers of the popular mystery comedy series “Only Murders in the Building” get another star in front of the camera. The two-time Oscar winner Zellweger will be there in season five.
Oscar winner Renée Zellweger (55) will be shown in the fifth season of the mystery comedy series “Only Murders in the Building”. “Welcome to the building, Renée Zellweger!” Said in a post by the official Instagram account of the HIT series for three hobby detectives in a New York apartment building. For this purpose, a picture of a black director’s chair on which Zellweger’s name stands was divided.
In “Only Murders in the Building” Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short, play three neighbors who want to educate deaths in their house. In the past seasons, stars such as Meryl Streep, Paul Rudd, Eva Longoria and Eugene Levy have already joined them. The series makers did not announce whether “Bridget Jones” star Zellweger will appear as a guest star or a fixed member of the ensemble.
As the industry magazine “Deadline” reports, in addition to Zellweger, Christoph Waltz should also be there in the new season. The series praised by fans and critics can be seen in Germany at Disney+.
