Does Duffy come back with new music? The “Mercy” singer can now be seen in a video for the first time in years.
Since the traumatic experience of kidnapping, in which she was put under drugs and raped, the British musician Duffy rarely reported to the public. She had even completely withdrawn from the public for several years. Now the “Mercy” singer has shown herself again. Apparently she also ventures into the recording studio.
New music from Duffy in progress
Duffy, whose real name Aimée Anne Duffy is shared by “Emotion HQ”, can be seen to a remix of her famous hits “Mercy” during lipsyncing. With her light blonde hair, the singer can still be clearly recognized. The video says that a remix of the song would be released soon. The group also said: “Everyone who questions about the Duffy Remix: We plan to finish him very soon with Duffy.” The singer commented: “Let’s finish it.”
It is the first time in a year that Duffy speaks up. At the end of March 2024, she posted a video with various animations on music and an emotional quote about happiness on Instagram. In the meantime, only one post from 2020 can be seen. Duffy hadn’t shown herself since her kidnapping – until now.
Last album 2010
In February 2020, the 40-year-old now reported on her agony in an Instagram post that is no longer available. In April 2020, a long open letter followed in which she describes the terrible events. She still did not reveal who did this to her and also left the year in which she had to endure the kidnapping. The traumatic experience led her to withdraw from the spotlight to focus her recovery.

London baby: Adele Laurie Blue Adkins grew up with her mother in the Tottenham district. She had a difficult relationship with her father for years. “I didn’t really get his attention, he said he would come, and then he didn’t come, and when he came, we only went out for half an hour and then he put me at home,” she said in the BBC radio show “Desert Island Discs”. “He had an illness, he was a really great alcoholic and he had many demons, but I didn’t really understand that when I was younger,” said the musician.
