Death of Shannen Doherty “doesn’t make sense”
With Luke Perry and Shannen Doherty, two good colleagues from Jennie Garth died. The two still live in their world.
Jennie Garth (52) still has to deal with the death of Shannen Doherty (1971-2024) and Luke Perry (1966-2019). Garth cannot believe that her colleague and her colleague are no longer there – even if Perry died around six years ago.
“It still makes no sense for my brain”
“That makes no sense. It still doesn’t make sense for my brain,” says the 52-year-old in a new one who was published on March 26th. “And I live in a world in which they are still alive in my thoughts. So it is very, very difficult to understand that they are not physical here.”
Garth, Doherty and Perry once became famous with the series “Beverly Hills, 90210”. Even after the show is broadcast, the actors, including Brian Austin Green (51), Tori Spelling (51) and Ian Ziering (60), were said to have been very close. Perry surprisingly died in 2019 from the consequences of a stroke, Doherty lost a long fight against cancer in July 2024.
This in the summer of 2024 that she received messages from Luke Perry even after his death. He appeared to her in her dreams, “just stood there, smiled and the feeling that the energy has given me the thoughts: ‘Do it. You keep doing this. You make great things. Keep on with what you do.'” When she talks about it, she always got goose bumps, the 52-year-old, who “really believe in all things”.
