Young Scooter: Rapper dies at the age of 39

Young Scooter (1986-2025) is dead. The rapper died on March 28, his 39th birthday. Accordingly, he was previously brought to a hospital in Atlanta in the US state of Georgia, where he finally died. A cause of death is still being determined.

The rapper had suffered an injury to the leg on the run from a confrontation with the police when he tried to climb over a fence. Accordingly, police officers had moved to his house in the southeast of Atlantas after receiving reports on shots. When the officers arrived there, a man opened the door and quickly struck him in front of his nose, two men fled through the back of the house.

The rapper, bourgeois Kenneth Edward Rashaad Bailey, began his career in 2012 at the label of Rapper Future (41), who was a childhood friend of his. Young Scooter received attention, among other things, through his collaborations with other rappers such as Gucci Man (45).

He had greater success with the singles “Colombia” and “Street Lottery”. With “Jet Lag”, a collaboration with Future and Juice WRLD, Young Scooter 2018 for the first time in the top 100 of the Billboard charts. He only published his last mixtape, “Fast Lane Juugin” in February 2025.
