First Peru, then Colombia and Chile, now in the Dominican Republic – the singer’s concert statements don’t seem to end. In social media, resentment is increasingly stimulating.
The Colombian singer Shakira has to cancel a concert for the fifth time on her tour by Latin America and the USA. The organizers said that it will not appear as planned on April 2 in the Olympic Stadium of Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. The reason for this are “operational problems that escape the artist’s control”. A new appointment for the concert is scheduled to take place in September.
The Colombian has been touring her album “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (“The women no longer cry”) by South and North America since mid-February and has had to cancel and move concerts several times. Most recently, the two planned appearances had to be canceled due to technical problems in Chile’s capital Santiago de Chile.
Previously, Shakira (“Hips Don’t Lie”, “TQG”) had to cancel a concert in her home country because the roof had been damaged during the stage setup in Medellín. Her appearance in mid -February in the Peruvian capital Lima had also failed. The singer had been brought into the emergency room with severe abdominal pain.
The comments of dissatisfied fans are therefore increasing on social media. “Lack of respect” and “irresponsibility” can be read more often. The 48-year-old is currently in Mexico City-there be one of her concerts due to ambiguities about the early days with a two-hour delay.
