Oliver Pocher did not recognize the signs of his stricken marriage

It was about a year and a half since the first rumors spilled into the public that the marriage of Oliver Pocher and Amira was not good. That was at the end of August 2023. And the rumors should come true. A public dispute broke out after the official separation. The marriage found her marriage a year later, in August 2024, with the divorce.

She is now new to moderator Christian Düren, Oliver Pocher still seems single and often processes his thoughts and emotions in his podcast “Die Pochers! Freshly recycled”, which he continued with his first ex-wife, Sandy Meyer-Wölden, after the separation from Amira. So also in the latest episode at Podimo.

The first cracks in the relationship between Oliver and Amira Pocher are said to have already been rumors of separation months before the first rumors of separation. Amira, who is a Austrian and still live there of her family, apparently wanted to go home about Easter 2023 – only without her husband.

Pocher looks back: “It was interesting: that was a phase where Amira said relatively suddenly that I shouldn’t come to Austria. Where I was already amazed. Where it was said: yes, I want to go to the family. And then you are always there, and somehow I find it stupid.” Amira then drove to Austria with the two sons together.

The violated husband then flew to the Bahamas with ex-wife No. 1, Sandy, and her three children together over Easter 2023. Meyer-Wölden also remembers this family festival: “We still talked about it at sunset.”

At the time, the comedian did not know what to think of Amira’s sudden distance – he felt in a kind of floating state. The answer to the perceived uncertainty came in the summer of the same year: the separation. Now, around two years later, it is thoughtful and he could not imagine: “A year later, there should be no relationships …”
