Hulk Hogan threatens family-Zoff: daughter raises allegations of abuse

In an emotional Instagram post, Brooke Hogan speaks of family abuse and psychological violence. Shortly after her mother Linda Hogan called her ex-husband a “liar” and subordinated him sex addiction.

In a long text posting, the daughter of the well-known wrestler describes her dark experiences: “What I am now expressing is not directed against one of the two people. It is my personal truth, and everyone can form an opinion.” She speaks of “extremely verbal and psychological abuse” that she has experienced since childhood.

The 36-year-old also writes: “Unfortunately, physical abuse often occurred. Sometimes it is not the person you would assume-abuse can occur in many forms.”

Only a few hours earlier, her mother Linda had already made headlines. In her Instagram story, she turned to her follower with tears in her eyes and complained: “It has passed 15 years since I left Hulk Hogan, and my family is in an absolute chaos.” She speaks of a broken relationship with her daughter: “Brooke no longer speaks to us. She married, got twins – and not even informed us.”

Hulk and Linda Hogan divorced in 2009 after 26 years of marriage. The separation was turbulent and accompanied by numerous allegations. Linda submitted the divorce after it became known that Hulk had an affair with a younger woman – Christiane Plante, a friend of daughter Brooke.

But that was not the only reason: Linda later also claimed in her book called “Wrestling the Hulk” that Hulk had abused her physically and emotionally during the marriage. She spoke of a “life in fear” and described her ex-husband as unfaithful and aggressive. Hulk denied the allegations.

However, the break with the daughter is said to have occurred eight years ago. A violent argument between Brooke and her father is said to have been the trigger. Since then there has been not only between her and the Hulk, but also between her and Linda radio silence. “Everyone has given me more than enough reasons over the years to make this extremely difficult and painful decision,” writes Brooke Hogan.

Linda does not want to leave the serious allegations of abuse against her. In a Facebook declaration, she vehemently rejects the allegations. She “never abused Brooke physically or verbally” – on the contrary: she describes her daughter as “narcissist”. Although she admits that she has “beaten once and insulted a few times”, she contradicts the presentation that she had treated her daughter poorly.
