After the photo concept last year, Princess Kate used this year’s British Mother’s Day to share a significant message.
Mother’s Day is celebrated in Great Britain today. After the photo plan last year, Princess Kate (43) took the holiday this time to send a particularly important message: With husband Prince William (42), the Kensington Palace posted a video of various impressions from nature, mountains, rain, sea, trees, animals on Sunday morning.
It is impressive about this: “Last year, nature was our refuge. On this Mother’s Day, let’s celebrate the mother of nature and recognize how our bond with the natural world can not only help to maintain our inner, but also remind us of the role that we play within the rich wall rug of life.” The message is signed with “C” for Catherine.
After the much-discussed photo faux pas from last year, Princess Kate chooses a completely different way to commit Mother’s Day. At that time, the palace published a picture of the princess with her three children. Because there was speculation about the health and well-being of the 43-year-old, the photo was meticulously examined. The surprise followed shortly afterwards: Several large photo agencies withdrew the picture because it showed significant signs of digital processing. Kate hired the mistake, apologized publicly and explained that she had experimented around a little as a hobby photographer.
A year later, her homage speaks to nature as a retreat and source of strength volumes – especially against the background of cancer, which she announced shortly after Mother’s Day in 2024. After several months of treatment and a longer break, Prince William’s wife has now returned to her royal tasks.
