Sean “Diddy” Combs
One of the lawsuits against rappers rejected
One of several complaints against Sean “Diddy” Combs has now been rejected by a New York judge.
The rapper and hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs (55) is still in custody. However, one of the complaints against Combs, which sexual misconduct is accused of in dozens of cases, has now been rejected by a judge in New York.
“There is a lot of fear among these plaintiffs”
In this specific case, Combs was accused of sexual assault. A woman had sued the rapper in 2024 under the anonymous name “Jane Doe” and claimed that he wanted to abuse her at a party in 1995 and attacked after she rejected his advancement attempts.
According to the court, the plaintiff decided to continue to pursue the case after the court asked her to specify her real name by March 20. In a statement available to the magazine, her lawyer Tony Buzbee explained: “In this special case, Jane Doe decided not to go further. There is a lot of fear among these plaintiffs. I can’t think of it.” She did not want to expose herself to the media hype and the supposed danger.
The big trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs
In further cases, Combs is accused of having abused, threatened and compelled suspected victims over the years. In November 2023, the rapper and his ex -girlfriend Cassie Ventura (38) agreed on an extrajudicial comparison – shortly after the singer submitted a civil lawsuit for abuse and rape. Later more and more alleged incidents became known.
In September 2024, Combs, who rejects all allegations, was arrested. Since then he has been in custody. During the first court appointment after the arrest Combs’, a New York judge had set the appointment for a planned start of the trial to May 2025. In addition to illegal sex trade and coercion, the allegations also include organized crime.
