Queen Máxima attracted everyone at an appointment. The wife of Willem-Alexander did without her pumps.
Máxima of the Netherlands (53) demonstrated on Wednesday at a public appearance in Rotterdam how quickly and easily she can adapt to a situation. King Willem-Alexander’s (57) wife was the prominent guest at a baptism of ship, which the 53-year-old was even allowed to do.
Without shoes on the ship
In order to be able to enter Sea Ranger Service’s sailing ship, Máxima got rid of her pointed pumps in dark blue and was barefoot on board. At the appointment, the 53-year-old wore a high-necked, elegant midirobe in dark blue, which provided a special look with a gold pattern and feathers on skirt and neckline. In addition, Máxima combined a matching, expansive hat.
“Queen Máxima of the Netherlands officially baptized the latest ship of the Sea Ranger Service in Rotterdam: SRS Janet Taylor,” it says. “This ship, in which the focus was on sustainability, is not only a further enrichment of the maritime world, but also a step towards decarbonizing offshore activities and the formation of a new generation of Sea Rangern.”
The social company based in the Netherlands describes its work as follows: “In cooperation with government organizations and large companies, we strive to improve the socio -economic regeneration of coastal regions and at the same time drive the protection of the world’s oceans.”
