Eminem is grandpa: his daughter gave birth to the first son

Great joy in the house of Mathers: Rap superstar Eminem (52) has become a grandfather for the first time. His daughter Hailie Jade Scott (29) and her husband Evan McClintock (30) were allowed to welcome their first son in the world on March 14th. The little boy soon listens to the name Elliot and also bears the second first name Marshall – of course a loving homage to his famous grandpa, which is called Marshall Bruce Mathers.

The freshly baked mother shared the joyful news herself. In her posting she showed her son wrapped in a gray knitting sweater in front of a name tag that revealed Elliot’s complete name and date of birth. “Happy due date/three weeks on earth, smaller,” wrote Haailie Jade about the picture and accompanied her message with a white heart emoji.

Eminem had already announced the pregnancy in October 2024 in his music video for the song “Temporary”. At that time he showed his daughter Hailie presented him with a Detroit Lion jersey with the inscription “Grandfather” and also surprised him with an ultrasound recording.

Hailie Jade Scott and Evan McClintock met in 2016 at the Michigan State University. After six years of relationship, the couple went out to be in early 2023. In an interview in Scott’s “Just A Little Shady” podcast, McClintock revealed that he had obtained Eminems blessing for his marriage proposal during his partner’s birthday party in December 2022.

More than a year after the engagement, the celebrity sprout announced in a post on Instagram with a wedding photo in a post on Instagram that the two married. “I woke up as a wife this week. We couldn’t have wanted a better, nicer weekend,” she wrote in the comment. Hailie Jade comes from the relationship between Eminem and Kimberly Anne Scott (49).
