“Diddy” has been in custody since September, and his process is scheduled to begin in May. Now the public prosecutor has expanded the indictment.
The US public prosecutor raises further allegations against rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs. According to two new charges, the musician is said to have forced people to sex trade in 2021 to 2024. So far, the indictment had related to 2009 to 2018.
Combs is also said to have brought people with the aim of prostitution from abroad and across the borders of US states, according to the extended indictment, which is available to the German Press Agency dpa. The additional allegations could ensure a longer prison sentence. His lawyers have so far denied all offenses.
Combs has been in custody since mid -September. The rapper is accused of sex trade, organized crime and other offenses by the public prosecutor in New York. The start of the process is currently set to May. There are also a number of civil lawsuits for sexual abuse. A law firm in Houston in the US state of Texas had announced that it represents 120 people with allegations against the rapper.
The musician has been one of the most successful rappers in the world with hits like “i’ll be Missing You” or “Bad Boy for Life” in the past decades. In the course of his career, he used the pseudonymous “Puff Daddy”, “P. Diddy” and “Diddy”.
